Getting to know each other

The idea of a blog for our Malaysia Week site is for communication, reflection and plain old story telling.
For todays site meeting, we would like all of you to create a Malaysia Week Blog (using your existing blogger name)
  • Log into blogger.
  • Create a new blog.
  • Brainstorm an appropriate title for the the blog - the theme is environmental sustainability.
  • Write (in a well structured blog post), about what you hope to gain from Malaysia Week.

And then answer the following questions:

What 3 adjectives would your friends use to describe you

What 3 adjectives would your teachers use to describe you?
Look at the itinerary- what specific event are you most excited about in regards to this Malaysia week? Why?

NEXT...
  1. Look at the itinerary - what specific event are you least excited about? Why?
  2. Why did you choose Pulau Tioman as your Malaysia Week site?
  3. What is one thing you think everyone should know about you as a person?
  4. What types of people do you work well with?
  5. What types of people are a challenge for you to work with?

AND FINALLY.......

Include 3 graphics that show you as a learner (be sure to cite the sources for the graphics .

Provide an explanation about the graphics you have shown.

Please email me the URL of your Malaysia Week Blog so that we can add a link to your blog.
Enjoy

Mrs.N and Mr. Thomas

Saving our environment! - The Malaysia Week Environmental Charter

During our Malaysia Week meeting, students were introduced to the Malaysia Week Charter that was created by the Grade 7 Global Issues class.

We spoke of many ways in which we could help sustain the environment during Malaysia Week:-

* Ensure that we compost our waster
* Plan for meals where we can take bio-degradable packing
* Large Bottles of water instead of small.
* Have all students donate 20rm towards the tree planting initiative.
